    ASA Logistics Pty Ltd is a wholly Australian owned and managed exempt proprietary company that began trading in December 1991 as Australian Shipping Associates Pty Ltd, with a view to become a pre-eminent provider of quality transport, shipping and distribution services. In October 1997 the company officially changed its name to ASA Logistics.

    ASA offers fully integrated logistic services to both importers and exporters. Core competency in contract warehousing and distribution is complemented by a global freight forwarding operation, bonded facilities and an up to date customs clearance department.

    ASA maintains offices in the major freight centres in Australia and runs 2 contract multi-user warehouses in excess of 200,000sq ft. ASA now employs more than 60 staff. One of the major reasons for the success of the company is that ASA has a small but specific customer base. This has enabled: Maximum focus on personalised customer service. Greater opportunity to work closely with customers on supply chain solutions, as the ASA senior management takes a 'hands-on' approach. The use of synergies between customers to enhance overall service and cost reduction programs, very much in-line with continuous improvement programs.
